My recent stay at the Houses of History - Anno 1830 with my two teenage sons was a delightful escape. Nestled by the serene Belső-tó, this charming pension exudes a romantic ambiance, thanks to its 200-year-old architecture and cozy period decor. Our spacious room, outfitted with modern amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, seamlessly blended comfort with rustic charm, making it an ideal retreat for our family. Each morning, we were treated to a sumptuous breakfast buffet, perfect fuel for our adventures. The highlight of our days was renting e-bikes right on the premises, allowing us to explore the picturesque village and the stunning Őrtorony viewpoint-an eco-friendly option that resonated with our conservationist spirit. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, which added a personal touch to our experience. I highly recommend the Houses of History for families and those looking for an authentic and tranquil experience in Tihany. It's a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, making it a memorable destination for anyone traveling through this beautiful region of Hungary.
